Post 7: Decribe your favourite...

I'm going to write about two architects that I do not admire, but I like how they think about their architectural designs. Their names are Jacques Herzog and Piere de meuron. They were born in Basel, Switzerland in 1950, studied architecture at the federal polytechnic school in Zurich, together made an architectural firm in 1978 and won the Pritzker in 2001.
One of my favorite houses, designed by these architects, is the Rudin house in France. It reminds me of the houses that many of us draw when we are children and I like that connection.
They alsodid the remodeling of the Tate Modern in London, which was once an electrical factory, this was the work selected for the Pritzker Nomination.
I am interested in the way of they design because, despite how little I know about it, they make the search for the shape of the building through the logic of the material used, in addition their designs are simple and take advantage of natural light in them.
